Use of JournaScope
JournaScope is provided as a public beta journal discovery and decision-support service. You may use it to search, compare, and review source-backed journal information.
Decision-support only
JournaScope provides journal discovery and decision-support information. It does not guarantee acceptance, indexing, publication outcomes, fee accuracy, or suitability for any specific manuscript.
User responsibility
Authors remain responsible for verifying journal scope, APCs, indexing, licence, article type, editorial policies, and submission requirements directly with each journal before submitting.
Corrections and submissions
You may submit source-backed corrections or journal updates. JournaScope may review, reject, edit, or delay applying submissions to protect data quality and prevent unsupported claims.
No misuse
Do not abuse, scrape at high volume, disrupt, reverse engineer, or use JournaScope in a way that harms the service, users, or data integrity.
Intellectual property
JournaScope branding, UI, content, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Third-party journal data and source names remain owned by their respective rights holders.
Availability and limitation of liability
JournaScope is in beta and may change, pause, or become unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JournaScope is not liable for decisions made solely from the service without independent verification.
